Little Language Learners: Storytime and Play in American Sign Language - Central Library

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026 Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm Location: Central Library Community Room Library: Central Library Families with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing children, ages birth to 3 years old, are invited to attend this special storytime and play session with American Sign Language (ASL) teacher Jennifer McLellan. She'll teach some ASL vocabulary and sign stories. The first hour is open to all families with infants and toddlers, while the second hour is for families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing infants and toddlers. Siblings are welcome. Interpreters will be there for the hearing audience. Jennifer McLellan is an Early Literacy Coordinator from the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind in Colorado Springs. In Partnership:
